Tailgate Party & Nominations

Well, it's that time of the year again, when the Snow Birds return to Oak Run, and THE CLUB begins it's new season functions. This Wednesday evening(9/12/12) will be the TAILGATE PARTY. It will also be the time to nominate new board members for the coming , 2013 & 2014 years. We have had volunteers for most of the board positions, but we are still searching for someone to fill the secretary position. Our club does not have a typical secretary position. The duties of our Secretary are to take minutes and help the President create the News letter by keeping him informed of what happened since the last letter and what are the upcoming events. This should be a full time resident if possible.
I am asking our membership for volunteers or nominations for any open positions. We have been blessed with the hard work and leadership of our past board members. It is now our turn to take up the reins and try to do as good a job as our past board has done.
It's always nice to enjoy the parties and outings, now is the time to put forth a little effort ourselves.
If you would like to be nominated or know of someone who would like to be nominated for a position, please be at the meeting on Wednesday, and call Dave Stebner  (352)732-2227 or Bill Priest  (937) 830-0518, before the meeting, so the names can be added to the Nomination List.
