Ÿ  $2 PP at the door ---NO EARLY TICKET SALES---                              

Ÿ  POTLUCK --- Bring a dish to pass.

Ÿ  ICE WILL BE CHOPPED AWAY before the plunge. 

Join the BOARD for the refreshing DIP at approx. 3:30 PM

Ÿ  DINNER--- We will start Chowing Down on the delicious potlucks, shortly after the swim.   (remember---- Those that brave the swim *** EAT FIRST***

Ÿ  Entertainment --- Brian LaPalme will be bringing a new show to amaze us, after dinner.

Ÿ  DESSERT ITEMS --- dessert will be served after the Entertainment

Ÿ  We will be having a 50/50 drawing

Ÿ  Bring Your Own Refreshments

Always remember, if you can, bring a non-perishable food item to all club functions to help the less fortunate.

2013 Golf Outing

Thanks to all of you that came out and made the Annual UMC Golf Outing a huge success this year.  We had 48 golfers and 76 diners this year and everyone that signed up came and supported the Club Event.  Please see the link to the pictures at right.  Enjoy.

UMC Golf Outing

UMC’s “The Golf Outing” is on again this September.

PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2013.

We hope everyone signs up for Golf and the “After Party” (Spouses/significant others are welcome to the After Party).

Golf: 2:30PM Shotgun Start.  Cost is $13.00 PP (no charge for Club Members).  Please be at the clubhouse by 2:00PM. 

After Party:  5:30PM at the pavilion behind the clubhouse. Dinner will be Hamburgers, Pulled Pork, Potato Salad, Baked Beans and Cookies. Cost is $13.00 PP.

Sign up & bring a 4-some or sign up and we’ll put the 4-some together.

Ticket sales will be 9:00AM – 11:00AM, Tuesday, September 3^rd ONLY at the Orchid Club.

Not quite sure how to have a Beach Party in the Upper MidWest, but we’re gonna TRY.

Wear your flip-flops, bikini, speedo, sunscreen, sun glasses, beach blanket & towel

The date is May 8^th for the “Beach Party” at the Orchid Club, from 6-10 PM.
This should be a night of reminiscing our youthful days of the past (if we can remember that far back), and dancing to the sounds of “Alan Sutphen”.

The Club will provide Subs, Chips, Salad & Ice Cream
Door Prizes and 50/50 Drawings  ……..B.Y.O.B.
Ticket Sales will be at the Orchid Club Lobby, Monday April 29^th and Tuesday April 30^th from 9:00 – 11:00 AM each day.
The cost for Members: $9.00PP, Guests: $12.00 PP

Spring Picnic

Ticket sales for the April 12^th Picnic will be on sale Monday & Tuesday, April 1^st & 2^nd, from 9 – 11AM in the Lobby of the Orchid Club.

Cost is $9.00pp, including the $2.00 park admission.

UMC’s Annual Rainbow Springs State Park Spring Picnic... at Noon, Friday, April 12th

Bring in the Spring weather, enjoy a bit of mother nature and have fun with good friends.

Enjoy a meal of Lee’s Chicken, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw & Bakery.

Members with last names starting with A thru L should please bring a dessert to share.

Entertainment will be Bingo and Horse Races.

Computer Classes for 2013

Update: The "iPad Basics" class, for those new to the iPad, will take place on Friday, 2-15, at 3PM in the Orchid Club for all who have registered. Bring your checkbook (preferred) or cash if you are not a 2013 member of the Computer Club. **1-31**

 
The 2013 Computer Classes at the Orchid Club, 3PM on Friday afternoons, will begin in February. There are over 2 dozen classes listed with more available upon request.

“GET CROCKED” Chili Cook-Off

The UMC’s Annual GET CROCKED Party
will be at the Palm Grove Auditorium
Wednesday, March 6th, 2013 at 6:00PM
(Not 3/13 as previously advertised)
The evenings’ entertainment will be Taylor Mason.
Taylor is a Professional Entertainer from the Walt Disney Entertainment Group. Taylor is an accomplished Comedian, Ventriloquist, Vocalist, Impressionist and more.
Meal: Crock Pots w/ various Chili’s, finger foods, desserts.
The Club will supply Clam Chowder along with other “CROCKED” Items.
